The NHS Deserves better hospital medication data
Ben Goldacre and Brian McKenna are right... and there is much more to do

I could not agree more with the title of this BMJ article from Ben Goldacre and Brian MacKenna. If nothing else the COVID-19 pandemic has shown that better data is vital for public health at every level.
In the article, Ben and Brian highlight two companies that already aggregate data from hospital EPMA systems. Both use data based on issues from pharmacy stock systems. Neither makes this easily available for medical research.
Triscribe is trying to tackle this problem a different way. Our analytics are drawn from hospital EPMA systems every day. They are based on actual medicines given to real patients.
We are also the only software that can combine data from more than EPMA system. Our analytics give you a picture of medicines usage for the whole hospital.
Triscribe is an early stage spinout from the Usher Institute of Medical Informatics. We are building our analytics to deliver the improvements in data that front line NHS hospital clinicians need.
We need your help. If you are interested in working with us to make a difference, please reply to this email.
